I made good progress today on the crewing front for Infernal Creations. Darren, who did a stellar job recording the sound for All in a Day’s Work (have you watched that yet? If not, I’ll add at the bottom of the post), is on board, and ready to not only record it, but bring his production skills to the fore as well for the main sound mix.
Russ, who shot some of All in a Day’s Work (the bits not in the house) is also on board as DoP. He’ll be ably assisted by my son, Tom, who is currently in his second year at LSBU doing a film production degree with an eye to becoming a cinematographer (and a damn fine one too, even if I do say do myself!).
That just leaves make-up to get sorted, which we have options on from pro to not-so-pro, and so somewhat depends on budget. Which brings us to the next thing on the to-do list for tomorrow, the crowdfunding campaign. Watch this space!
It looks like the actors and crew are all clear for a January shoot, so I will be going back to the people at the Priory to talk bidness tomorrow as well.
All in all, very productive day.
And since you didn’t ask, here is my award-winning short film (Folkestone International Film Festival 2018 - Best Film!), All in a Days Work (warning: contains fruity language and little bit of blood).
